This particular 7710 silver dial variant of the Hi-Beat Leopard is arguably one of the sleekest watches Citizen produced during the 1970s. The case, hands, dial and bracelet are so well complemented to one another that the whole piece almost seems to have been dipped in silver. The case shape might be described as a cushion type and has been designed to sit as low and flat to the wrist as possible, however it wears like a contemporary watch - a bit larger than what would be typical of the time. The low profile, 4 o’clock push to advance crown is another unifying element that adds to its low profile look. This particular example has a few scuffs on the case, common to a watch of its age, however it is in overall superb condition - perhaps the only true giveaway is the very slightly pinked dial which is even in its patina and quite beautify in its own way. This watch is an excellent complement to one of the bolder Leopards, as a practical daily wearer, and either dressed up or down.
