Citizen Leopard 26J

This Hi-Beat 26J 7210 variant of the Leopard has a grippy 3 O’Clock crown and circular brushed case. The case doesn’t have any sharp edges, quite reminiscent of an old roadster. the new old stock high hat acrylic crystal on the other hand stands proud of a thin bezel and has a clean sharp taper. The distortion is excellent and shows the silver dial off well. There are a few stains on the dial however on wrist they’re not very noticeable. The dial has a grainy bare silver finish and the seconds track on the dial has half second markers, 10 total between the hour markers. This gives the dial a technical no frills look. The original signed H-link bracelet has a simple utilitarian appeal with none of the fuss associated with office wear. Lastly, the black calendar wheel reinforce its roadster look as white type on black has the superior legibility of a gauge cluster.

This watch is compact and has a smooth case profile which makes it wear a bit smaller than other Leopards. This watch would be perfect as a casual weekend watch however practical and perfectly capable as a daily wearer. Certainly not the dressiest watch, however some workplaces are more like a shop than bank and don’t necessarily require strict decorum - for that this watch is an excellent choice.
